Fred Robarts is an experienced humanitarian consultant. He has worked for the British Red Cross, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), the Department for International Development (DFID), the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC), Human Rights Watch and the UN Group of Experts on the Democratic Republic of Congo, among others. Fred has been collecting records and DJing since university days in Bristol in the 1990s. He is based in Dakar, Senegal, following stints in London, Bristol, Accra, Kinshasa, Jaffna, Tegucigalpa and Prague. Selected DJing highlights include warming up for Ebo Taylor at a festival in Ghana, regular sets at Republic in Accra and Spiritland in London, and supporting Jalen Ngonda among others on the main stage at Peckham Festival.
